Weird template issue ... - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i newbie, pretty successful far.

have created site @ http://www.imagine-intl.com using joomla 1.0.12  hosted @ siteground.com

i have used bundled template called "siteground 12" , modified image associated company name (sg_13_07.jpg) reflect actual company name.  named new file sg_13_07_ver02.jpg , changed html template file reflect new version of file (from inside joomla template manager).  successful.

the current problem.  file,  sg_13-07_ver02.jpg, has dissapeared default template directory in joomla installation without action on part aware of.  more strange, joomla website doesnt seem notice gone.  correct file still displayed joomla site @ correct location on template in live site.  when change html template point original default file (sg_13_07.jpg) still in template folder ... live website changes expected display original default file in correct location on page.

however, trying upload next version of company name image new logo , font (sg_07_ver03.jpg).  uploads correctly correct template directory , can displayed file manager on host correct file.  has same pixel size , pixel resolution original image worked.  however, when html template corrected reflect (point ) name of new file, fails load image , table element of webpage remains blank white.

it not file problem.  have taken original  (sg_13_07_ver02.jpg) file worked, renamed , uploaded sg_13_07_ver03.jpg , same results.  new name refuses load.

nothing strange has been done site or joomla installation since template working correctly far know.


does joomla somehow load , store information template mysql database?  explain how seems able correctly use file no longer in template/images folder?  or can files hidden within folder still accessable joomla?


more , importantly .... has ever had problem or ideas how solve it?

i can't answer question because i'm unsure... when i'm changing logo or on page (well php pages, templates , stuff in joomla) rename old file don't want (i.e. sg_13_07_old01.jpg) , name save new 1 same original file (i.e. sg_13_07.jpg). reason because never know other file might referencing logo file... , if mess there no way know messed if find problem later on down road. if building site scratch , knew tend take approach. software dreamweaver made things easy change. unfortunately don't have luxury of link checkers , mass changing things i've opted renaming old logo , making new logo original name. 2 cents. :)

Sketch upload fails with Java error (___REMOVE___/bin/avrdude)!

Arduino Uno + KTY81/210 temperature sensor

hi, sorry, new , unsure lot of things, need clarification. haven't found information explains how , why things work, "do this, that" i following guide ( arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial ) connect thermistor arduino uno. here temperature sensor information: temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 part.no.:   kty81-210 name:   temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 description:   2.5mm, 1980...2020ohm, -55...+150°c and here sensor's data-sheet: sensor data-sheet i have connected same way in guide. works , values being serial printed. what don't understand: 1. thermistor's , resistor's ohm value should equal, correct? in case 2000 ohm? 2. thermistor has ptc, i'm guessing have invert math or use ntc thermistor instead correct values?
