Thread: systemcrash while installing textlive-fonts-extra

i multitab browsing (around 15 tabs) in latest firefox karmic koala (9.10)
, @ same time downloading (probably auto-installing) in synaptic-package-manager package: textlive-fonts-extra (and other necessary packages; around 90 mb download , 250 mb installation)

pointer doesn't move anymore, (alt+tab , , other combinations didn't work anymore)
, hold power button untill computer turned off,
when reboot message
"invalid system disk, replace , press key continue"

i'm using livedisc boot computer (jaunty 9.04)

rebuild system think manually install packages interupted while installing , made not work anymore

packages installed when text-live-fonts marked install (in synaptic opened livedisc) are:
dvipdfmx
lmodern
text-common
texlive-base
texlive-base-bin
texlive-base-bin-doc
texlive-common
texlive-doc-base
texlive-fonts-extra-doc

may different 9.10 configuration (can see necessary 9.10)

have idea problem?

think computer wasn't responding anymore because used many tabs @ ones.
had same problem few times before in past weeks wasn't installing , computer did restart , firefox restored tabs.

cannot enter /home/ livedisc (no permission)
