Arduino OBDII not working

i received sparkfun can-bus shield christmas year. eagerly loaded example code onto arduino, when connected didn't work. code can found here. tried both can demo , ecu demo, neither worked. display "engine rpm:" no number. on can demo ever option chose, gave name, no number. have 2000 chevy cavalier 2.2l. have idea problem or can fix it? believe should work 2000 cavalier because has obdii port. thoughts?

Sketch upload fails with Java error (___REMOVE___/bin/avrdude)!

sd card Could not find FAT16/FAT32 partition [solved]

hi, while checking sd card connection, the error message shown below: initializing sd card...wiring correct , card present. card type: sdhc could not find fat16/fat32 partition. make sure you've formatted card --------------------------------- how can fix problem? i've bought micro sd card (samsung microsdxc) don't think it's problem of old version.. thanks help! which version of sd library using(can checked @ sketch > include library > manage libraries... )? there issue 1.1.0 1.1.1 should fix it.
