SIM808 GPS/GPRS/GSM Shield For Arduino

just saw on sale @ dfrobot, $32.

what's for:
  • send , receive gprs data (tcp/ip, http, etc.)
  • receive gps data , a-gps data
  • send , receive sms messages
  • make , receive phone calls


i used sim908 atmega1284p capture gps , send text location out perioidically, , used rest of 1284 io bunch of other stuff. nice having 1 serial port free usb comms , having 2nd gps/gsm interface.


the 908 has gps antenna on board, 808 has off board.
the 808 has bigger gps antenna, , larger power header , scl/sda pins on uno now. less $, $32 (on sale $40) vs $89.50 908.

i didn't use library, raw commands gps data, parse out parts wanted, , text out periodically.

i haven't tried 808 yet. sim card cover flips install card, vs sliding in on 908.

Sketch upload fails with Java error (___REMOVE___/bin/avrdude)!

Arduino Uno + KTY81/210 temperature sensor

hi, sorry, new , unsure lot of things, need clarification. haven't found information explains how , why things work, "do this, that" i following guide ( arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial ) connect thermistor arduino uno. here temperature sensor information: temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 part.no.:   kty81-210 name:   temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 description:   2.5mm, 1980...2020ohm, -55...+150°c and here sensor's data-sheet: sensor data-sheet i have connected same way in guide. works , values being serial printed. what don't understand: 1. thermistor's , resistor's ohm value should equal, correct? in case 2000 ohm? 2. thermistor has ptc, i'm guessing have invert math or use ntc thermistor instead correct values?
