Thread: Installing 9.10 on Dual-Boot with Vista?

i have ubuntu 8.04 installed on computer (acer travelmate 5720-6969, 120 gb hd in 4 partitions, 2 gb ram), in dual-boot configuration vista. hear many things 9.10 , install on machine. concerned doing might mess current dual-boot setup via grub. interested hear out there has tried this, , whether results satisfactory. part of me inclined wait next lts release , upgrade once available. many thanks!

i did - 8.04 -> 9.10.

grub2 (new grub) found 5 os's, vista, xp fedora 10, pclos, 8.04.

vista, xp, 9.10 booted fine afterwards. fc10, pclos did not boot. solved problem after 2 days, detailed here:

Arduino Uno + KTY81/210 temperature sensor

hi, sorry, new , unsure lot of things, need clarification. haven't found information explains how , why things work, "do this, that" i following guide ( arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial ) connect thermistor arduino uno. here temperature sensor information: temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 part.no.:   kty81-210 name:   temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 description:   2.5mm, 1980...2020ohm, -55...+150°c and here sensor's data-sheet: sensor data-sheet i have connected same way in guide. works , values being serial printed. what don't understand: 1. thermistor's , resistor's ohm value should equal, correct? in case 2000 ohm? 2. thermistor has ptc, i'm guessing have invert math or use ntc thermistor instead correct values?
