hi guys,
don't know if bug or not did not seem severe enough put forward bug report sure forum staff redirect if needed.

notwithstanding written in thread below (and maybe because of it) put down found.

operate ubuntu workstation windows domain share directories on windows server.

how use 'connect server' link menu system. after adding credentials drop bookmark window. have done ever since hardy (with exception of intrepid) , have never had problems.

have done karmic , seems work fine, when close window connection lose icons on display. please note here icons not removed 'desktop' directory. can navigate location , see them, not displayed. can restored logging off , on again (and goes without saying reboot).

logging on display ghost icon shared directory on desktop. clicking icon link me the shared directory without problem once window closed - lo! no icons again.

now, me, have got round this. removed bookmark , work without it.

1 time developer hazard guess problem have found possibly related 1 quoted in referenced thread.

have not been able give detail on @ home @ moment , therefore removed ubuntu machine if there demand try recreate symptoms next week when @ work.

if nothing else thread might out else has related problems.

thanks, ever, guys , gals real work. without none of here.

Sketch upload fails with Java error (___REMOVE___/bin/avrdude)!

Arduino Uno + KTY81/210 temperature sensor

hi, sorry, new , unsure lot of things, need clarification. haven't found information explains how , why things work, "do this, that" i following guide ( arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial ) connect thermistor arduino uno. here temperature sensor information: temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 part.no.:   kty81-210 name:   temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 description:   2.5mm, 1980...2020ohm, -55...+150°c and here sensor's data-sheet: sensor data-sheet i have connected same way in guide. works , values being serial printed. what don't understand: 1. thermistor's , resistor's ohm value should equal, correct? in case 2000 ohm? 2. thermistor has ptc, i'm guessing have invert math or use ntc thermistor instead correct values?
