Thread: Great low-tech netbook cooling thingie

a friend gave me menu propeller trivet today christmas. meant foodie accessory, i've repurposed it. if open halfway (like x-wing fighter), fits under asus 900ha perfectly. netbook stays inch off table, , heat dissipates. it's kind of rubbery (silicone?) , anti-slip. , can handle 260f.

note: it's not *quite* stable sister-in-law's asus 1005hab, screen heavy. may want jerry-rig "x" short pencils or test computer.

@ $20+, wouldn't buy myself. it's great wish list item. can use belkin coolstrip @ home , keep trivet in bag travel. it's compact closed -- size of travel toothbrush case. , comes in own unnecessary upscale metal box, i'm using travel watercolor brushes.
