Thread: Setting up FGLRX in 9.04 error?

i used have jaunty installed, when still being updated, , able fglrx work using site.

http://tan-com.com/posts/technology/...i-driver-issue

make long story short lost 9.04 install , have reinstalled because found karmic unstable.

still works until point reinstall xserver. after typing in
"sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg fglrx-amdcccle fglrx-kernel-source xorg-driver-fglrx libdrm2=2.3.1-0build1 gnome-session fast-user-switch-applet=2.24.0-0ubuntu6"

error.

reading package lists... done
building dependency tree
reading state information... done
packages not installed. may mean have
requested impossible situation or if using unstable
distribution required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of incoming.
following information may resolve situation:

following packages have unmet dependencies:
xorg-driver-fglrx: depends: lib32gcc1 not going installed
depends: libc6-i386 not going installed
e: broken packages
i assume because trying packages intrepid old no longer being hosted. if case can find these files somewhere else?
reading , advise have offer.

have removed xserver resolve before have reboot/shutdown computer without gui.

edit: think found way reinstall xserver jaunty , since late call night. when boot in morning have gui still.
