Opening PDF

i have downloaded adobe reader 8.1.1 , whenever attempt open pdf, computer shuts down. every stinking time!!!

the prompt reads error has occured , close down. not mention adobe, happens described above.

can anyone...everyone me? have removed , reinstalled adobe, not good. i'm running xp @ home.

i appreciate assistance @ all.

i have less serious, similar problem. replaced reader 7.09 reader 8.1.1 , when offline , attempt open pdf file on hard drive error message telling me must connected.

since particular computer never need read pdf file online,i went preferences/internet , unchecked display pdf in browser, allow fast webview, , allow speculative downloading in background. did not resolve problem.

i looking way can change setting in reader 8 allow me read offline. if there no such way should use windows restoration undo downloading of reader 8 , hope that restore reader 7.

Arduino Uno + KTY81/210 temperature sensor

hi, sorry, new , unsure lot of things, need clarification. haven't found information explains how , why things work, "do this, that" i following guide ( arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial ) connect thermistor arduino uno. here temperature sensor information: temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 part.no.:   kty81-210 name:   temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 description:   2.5mm, 1980...2020ohm, -55...+150°c and here sensor's data-sheet: sensor data-sheet i have connected same way in guide. works , values being serial printed. what don't understand: 1. thermistor's , resistor's ohm value should equal, correct? in case 2000 ohm? 2. thermistor has ptc, i'm guessing have invert math or use ntc thermistor instead correct values?
