ok, before started want recognize understand has little ubuntu itself...

said, know of using windows inside vm, figured place start. i've got vista installed on seperate hdd (i don't want or need dual boot), cannot install on vm because have rescue cd came computer. thinks i'm trying install on different computer , kicks me out, when in fact it's same physical computer.

questions this:

1. has been able install rescue cd onto vm?
2. there legit site me download copy of windows vista, knowing have registered product key?
3. if not, chances of getting copy of windows microsoft if lost rescue cd?

most recovery cds tied hardware intended , therefore won't install inside vm. vm sees virtual drivers, , doesn't access hardware itself.

don't know. i'm guessing mean free, seeing have valid key, still don't think so.

at best, i'd less nil, computer vendor replace recovery disk fee, silly money when compared buying new copy off shelf.

sorry can't more positive, chances you'd able pick new copy @ decent price vista not being current more, , if software runs on xp, maybe try that.

Arduino Uno + KTY81/210 temperature sensor

hi, sorry, new , unsure lot of things, need clarification. haven't found information explains how , why things work, "do this, that" i following guide ( arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial ) connect thermistor arduino uno. here temperature sensor information: temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 part.no.:   kty81-210 name:   temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 description:   2.5mm, 1980...2020ohm, -55...+150°c and here sensor's data-sheet: sensor data-sheet i have connected same way in guide. works , values being serial printed. what don't understand: 1. thermistor's , resistor's ohm value should equal, correct? in case 2000 ohm? 2. thermistor has ptc, i'm guessing have invert math or use ntc thermistor instead correct values?
