Adobe Reader in browser window disappearing-need help

i have created word document (wd1) containing links other word documents (wd2, wd3, etc). turned wd1 .pdf file. upload .pdf file web page. go webpage , click link open wd1.pdf file. when click wd1.pdf link on webpage, new browser window opens adobe reader in displaying wd1.pdf. far good. when click on links wd2 or wd3, these links open in word , correct files display, browser window containing wd1.pdf file disappears (thats best way describe it) , first webpage still open.

what trying achieve have second browser window stay open trainees using web page able click on other references on .pdf of links without having re-open each time.

i have researched in , web forums, reference can find uncheck box next open cross-documents in same window in preferences in adobe. have done , restarted computer. noticed preference show each document in own window checked.

here other rub, have desktop computer (os xp) , laptop (os vista). have adobe 8.1.2 installed on both. laptop vista works way like. desktop computer xp not. did have adobe 7.0.9 on desktop when did wanted upgraded 8.1.2 , still isnt working. real problem of trainees using work computers xp. dont know know if there significance in observation or not. thought throw out there.

does have suggestions of things try or know of solutions? please help.

Sketch upload fails with Java error (___REMOVE___/bin/avrdude)!

Arduino Uno + KTY81/210 temperature sensor

hi, sorry, new , unsure lot of things, need clarification. haven't found information explains how , why things work, "do this, that" i following guide ( arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial ) connect thermistor arduino uno. here temperature sensor information: temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 part.no.:   kty81-210 name:   temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 description:   2.5mm, 1980...2020ohm, -55...+150°c and here sensor's data-sheet: sensor data-sheet i have connected same way in guide. works , values being serial printed. what don't understand: 1. thermistor's , resistor's ohm value should equal, correct? in case 2000 ohm? 2. thermistor has ptc, i'm guessing have invert math or use ntc thermistor instead correct values?
