Linefollower robot : 2 wheel vs 4 wheel
hi everyone,
in recent weeks have been working on linefollower robot competition in country , considering changing design of robot 2 wheel + ball caster 4 wheel + ball caster. here reasons:
i in end of highschool, , beggining university want participate in line follower robot competition. robots 15cm x 15cm , mine. can go around 0.9 ~ 1m/s in track of white line , 10cm radius turns, due lack of friction between wheels , floor , great distance between center of mass , motors, slipping , believe maximum speed project, starting new 1 of 4 wheel robot which, in opinion, reduce slipping problem.
anyone has previous experience kind of line-follower? maybe can resource future students in kind of competition (i have not found information topic in internet).
thank

i suspect 2-wheeler more nimble, perhaps need redesign mass distribution. maybe need change tyre supplier
