Ringing an Old Telephone

hi,

i'm trying control ringer in old telephone (see attachment below).  i thought these hooked electromagnets, in same way old school bells, think circuit little more complicated.  there 1 black wire coming out of left electromagnet, , 1 red wire coming out of right electromagnet.  not sure if parts working, wouldn't mind replacing them new ones if knew how drive electromagnets ring bells.  

to right large capacitor, , in middle inductor.  i don't need function phone, want able control bells, i'm not sure how power coils control clapper.

again, if guidance on how power magnets ring bells great.

unlike door bell has contact makes , breaks generate pulsing magnetic field have feed telephone ac square wave. need use h-bridge circuit this, sort used driving motors.
you need 40 80v drive this, , arduino or 555 timer generating square wave @ 10 30 hz depending on sound want.
