failed component installation - after moving the site - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello all

i had moved website server (running cpanel control panel, php 4 , mysql 4) server (running cpanel control panel, php 5.2.4, , mysql 5.0.27).

while, things seemed work correctly, when tried install component after moving, got following message,

upload component - failed 
failed create directory "/home/vssrnet/public_html/site/components/com_sef/" 
=======

when, had messed folder permissions, , got internal server error when try open admin panel login screen, got realised , checked folder permissions , change permissions of administrator folder 755 , admin panel login screen , things started work before, other component installation feature, problem persisted.

i had searched forum, found thread inwhich, user whad written that  "component installation failure" solved reverting php 5 php 4.

i wish know, if joomla donot support php 5 , mysql 5?????

second thing is, going php 4, donot feel interested because, read somewhere gophp5 initiative and, time few months away, after php 4 support discontinued, so, being mature product , nice team, think nice see joomla work on php 5 & mysql 5.

in time, out of worry , disturbed scenario (messed file permissions on old setup in parallel, , after setting file permissions correctly in relaxed mind, found able login admin panel , without specific changes other restoration of file permissions, component installation worked before.

so, doubt getting supported when saw these 2 scenarios, , posting here know php 5 & mysql 5 support in joomla , in clearing issue.

joomla! 1.0.12jp stable work on php5.
your problem else.
you have checked configuration file in joomla root directory, right?  ;)

Sketch upload fails with Java error (___REMOVE___/bin/avrdude)!

Arduino Uno + KTY81/210 temperature sensor

hi, sorry, new , unsure lot of things, need clarification. haven't found information explains how , why things work, "do this, that" i following guide ( arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial ) connect thermistor arduino uno. here temperature sensor information: temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 part.no.:   kty81-210 name:   temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 description:   2.5mm, 1980...2020ohm, -55...+150°c and here sensor's data-sheet: sensor data-sheet i have connected same way in guide. works , values being serial printed. what don't understand: 1. thermistor's , resistor's ohm value should equal, correct? in case 2000 ohm? 2. thermistor has ptc, i'm guessing have invert math or use ntc thermistor instead correct values?
