Thread: No DHCPOFFERS received.

i've managed (i think) network card talking, stuck @ dhcp.

network wired, /interfaces looks this:

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

but on networking restart get

* reconfiguring network interfaces...
there pid file /var/run/dhclient.eth0.pid pid 1690
killed old client process, removed pid file
internet systems consortium dhcp client v3.1.2

plenty of leases available, according router. other windows , mac pcs on network ip's fine. ideas?

this solved dhcp problem on jaunty - curiously, karmic box doesn't seem have same issue. there launchpad question solved problem:
