Thread: dpkg-reconfigure failing

fresh karmic install on toshiba r100.

trying reconfigure xorg.conf setup rid of ridiculous black border around screen, when:

code:
root@scott-laptop:~# dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg debconf: unable initialize frontend: dialog debconf: (dialog frontend requires screen @ least 13 lines tall , 31 columns wide.) debconf: falling frontend: readline
already sudo'd. ideas?

screen stuck @ 800x600 resolution black border i'm trying rid of via reconfiguring xorg, seems telling me screen small run reconfiguration in first place?

as far know, command no longer works.

video card using, , did install video driver?
