I can no longer print pdf files

when select pdf file print
first "print file" pops-up
next "output file name" box opens

this changed when downloaded 8.1.2 . first of 8.0 not removed. did that. uninstalled 8.1.2 more once. changed firefox ie 7.

i not computer person. need able print pdf files

i take help. keep simple, please!

i use windows xp home sp2

deselect "print file" option in print menu.
