Thread: Problems booting after upgrade 9.04 -> 9.10
hi, posted on more-or-less same subject in "beginners" beginnery stuff going on in there solution, hope can relative beginner here. decided resist temptation upgrade windows 7 (from god-awful vista) , make new , concerted effort wean myself onto ubuntu. however, after upgrading existing 9.04 9.10 (using update manager, not fresh install) have issues during boot, several long delays take boot time (or rather bad) 6 minutes. these seem offending items, bit on head:

other problem seems here:

appreciated, want away vista. don't want have fresh install of ubuntu had got things way wanted.

if can point me in right direction - how go debugging, or reconfiguring bootup, editing individual items etc? maybe can figure things out myself.
