Thread: Video Drivers finding issues
greetings people, know might have seen thousands of these help-request threads drivers oh well, i'm gonna explain issue real quick:
yesterday bought new netbook: packard bell dot m , decided install ubuntu karmic coala used have on old pc, downloaded again file yesterday, installed , made possible updates in update manager. ubuntu doesn't seem find graphic card guess, didn't find information on box graphic card using found on net gma 500 probably, though can't find useful method video card working , that's getting me kind of annoyed.
thankful post here working method me try, please, explain step after step if because i'm not expert @ all.

i think got more.. saw poulsbo drivers in synaptic package managers decided try, found poulso-driver-3d , tried install said needed install 2d version first, tried install poulsbo-driver-2d got similar errpr saying that 2d driver depending file called "xserver-xorg-video-psb" isn't present in package manager thingy, looked on internet , found .gz files downloaded trying open them archive manager but.. after clicked on link of file "xserver-xorg-video-psb_0.2.1.orig.tar.gz" did "open with: archive manager (default) , got is:
/tmp/xserver-xorg-video-psb_0.2.1.orig.tar-3.gz not opened, because associated helper application not exist. change association in preferences

folder of file need install
update! managed unpack .gz file , need install it, kind of hard me.. use infos, it's installing install.sh thing isn't it?
hope turn out right 1 @ least
called folder aa in order easier
cd home/max/scrivania/aa
bash: cd: home/max/musica: no such file or directory
what's wrong?
