editor change - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

my content editor seems stay same regardless of select under global configurations.
i tried changing tinymce nowysiwyg.  installed fck , tried that, content editor still looks same.

i trying different editors because having trouble embedding link in default editor.
my problem default editor when click on anchor on insert/edit link or smily face,
i see window open second or 2 no content , nothing show in box content goes.

any thought whats going on?

the global configuration setting applies newly registered users - not ones registered. change setting go user manager -> select account -> select editor -> save
