How to re-attach a servo after it's been detached?


for robot i'm using couple of servos modded spin continuously without stopping drive wheels. i'm using ultrasonic sensor detect walls. when wall detected way found stop servo detach it. robot supposed roll backwards 1 second, spin left wheel turn, turn both wheels again until wall detected.

the problem i'm having once detach servo, i'm not sure need write reattach it. know function need write this? i've tried using attach function no luck far.

just use attach.
or don't detach.
