Thread: GRUB borked - using F12 to boot

i'm having trouble grub,

have ubuntu 9.04 3 internal hds. 160gb w/ ubuntu 9.04, 80gb blank, , 10gb w/ haiku rc1. let me explain did , happening:

had computer working fine 160gb & 80gb hds. added 10gb hd haiku. after added 10gb hd, got "verifying dmi pool data" error , after reading found meant new hd not recognized. adjusted bios recognized again. booted off ubuntu live , 3 hd recognized. booted haiku cd , installed on 10gb.

note, had not yet tried adjust grub yet make dual-boot. tried reboot ubuntu hd make sure things worked, when gets grub on boot shows

have reboot , press f12 , boot menu lets me choose hd first list , lets me choose 160gb hd list of 3 hds. once that, computer boots normal ubuntu 9.04

not figure out other information post, if can let me know, can provide more information fix grub problem. tia

adjusted bios recognized again. booted off ubuntu live , 3 hd recognized. booted haiku cd , installed on 10gb.
where did install bootloader of haiku? in mbr of hd set boot first in bios, assume 160gb? or, in mbr (or partition) of 10gb?

have tried re-install grub-legacy , chainload haikurc it?

Sketch upload fails with Java error (___REMOVE___/bin/avrdude)!

Arduino Uno + KTY81/210 temperature sensor

hi, sorry, new , unsure lot of things, need clarification. haven't found information explains how , why things work, "do this, that" i following guide ( arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial ) connect thermistor arduino uno. here temperature sensor information: temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 part.no.:   kty81-210 name:   temp. sensor 2000r +-1% to92 description:   2.5mm, 1980...2020ohm, -55...+150°c and here sensor's data-sheet: sensor data-sheet i have connected same way in guide. works , values being serial printed. what don't understand: 1. thermistor's , resistor's ohm value should equal, correct? in case 2000 ohm? 2. thermistor has ptc, i'm guessing have invert math or use ntc thermistor instead correct values?
