"Moving" joomla installation from subdirectory to main directory - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
this may obvious new joomla , mysql databases, etc , don't want mess 
i practising , installed joomla 1.13 subdirectory of site check out , see do. took forever , work out bugs , is. wanted use 1.5 , have set on site can't want going stick 1.13 until 1.5 comes further along.
rather build site in "subdirectory", in default directory, urls aren't long. there easy way without uninstalling joomla? don't believe poor brain has power or tolerance go thru installation. it's taken me 2 1/2 months point between 2 installations , numerous trials , errors installations , compatibility.
there 1 template installed on 1.13 installation along sample data. can move on main directory , adjust pathway in set somewhere? database not moving anywhere not familiar how joomla maps database , don't know if i'll mess or if can adjust few settings. on iis server if helps.
or need cut loses, delete , try start scratch
any advise helpful.
