LCD from treadmill, convert to arduino display?

i found treadmill on garbage pile , harvested sick dc motor , perfect experiments :) . spinning end hands reads 3 + volts , lights led, hooking dc power supply spins it. it's .5 horsepower @ 108 cdc continuous. sick! wanted works that. drive small buggy.

also took other electronics, including ac dc per supply motor, , user interface lcd. i'm sure card fixed programming show menus treadmill use, according user selection sends pwm motor controller (it's labelled on each card),  but perhaps there's cheap option make shield? screen bunch of pins, don't know thing screen drivers or programming. thinking looking book. try make display has room long statements etc.

spinning end hands reads 3 + volts , lights led,
must permanent magnet dc motor. nice find!

lcd screen:

quick q: there isn't, chance, connection via usb screen (not likely, thought i'd ask)?

if so, might able use usb sniffer determine protocol. if not, part numbers of ic chips on pcb , figure out do. that'll give overview of system , how meshes, albeit without specific protocols. also, contact manufacturer of treadmill , see if can tell how interface it. lastly, around connectors on pcb , see if of pins labeled similar following: "spi", "i2c", "sda", "scl", "mosi", "miso", "cs", "uart", "tx", "rx", "rs-232", or that. post findings. also, can post detailed close ups of pcb left of screen, right of screen, , of pcb?
