Help with IL9325C Bare TFT with Arduino Due and UTFT

hi all,


i needed transflective tft project doing i've gone for  bare 320*240 tft on board driver  (il9325c). thought great there utft library written it.

i choose arduino due avoid having 5v level shifting. bought head ribbon connect arduino.

i started utft, according documentation utft implementation supports 8 bits. connected cables (according documentation attached db10 - db17 need attached 22 - 28 , control lines (rs,wr,cs , reset  going 38 - 41).

 vcc pin (pin 1) connected 3.3v , ground (pin 36) arduino ground.


i've tried several days configuration going utft , nothing light on lcd not backlight.

i've decided if can't backlight working there no hope in else.

question 1: right in thinking leda should connected positive 5v on due , ledk1 , ledk2 gnd , backlight should illuminate or have missed something?


question 2: notice in documentation 8bit mcu interface alot of pins should grounded. need honour or ok being left un connected?

right, i've answered first question. 5v isn't enough power led backlight. instead wired 4 x aa in series , hey presto works.

still no joy on question 2. know if have ground connectors per data sheet attached start working?
