Arduino Motor shield with high amperage power supply (30A)
hi all
is possible directly connect 12v power supply delivering 30a arduino motor shield?
we want pilot 2 different 12v motors 2a each managed motor shield.
second question:
what happens if vin , gnd inverted on motor shield (gnd being connected + 12v)?
i'm asking because group of newbees did , think burnt motor shield. there burnt smell around , card seems dead.
i check health next week i'm not confident @ all... think some capacitors burnt there...
thanks comments

the larger capacity supply can used, board/motor draw current needed.
reversing power/gnd damages parts permanently.
which motor shield? schematics available online, can checked see if reverse polarity protection added. sound not in case.
