i looking information regarding how size of pdf document affects performance when loading, searching, or displaying pages. we have 100 page pdf file has 2,000 images , lot of searchable text 100 links added it. @ decent resolution, file 380 mb. it's being publicly distributed on disc, have no control on target platforms going be, assume it's whole gamut of consumer grade pcs , macs of various vintage. naturally, we're including latest suupported reader builds on disc , without acrobat 7 or newer, lose of functionality anyways, we're going concern ourselves supported reader products , mac / pc platforms support them. so, question reader load entire document in memory first? our file size exceeds minimum ram requirements reader anyway, i'm trying handle on kind of problems encounter. if shrunk document down 180 mb (still large), make difference? if has suggestions on dealing large documents this, i'd appreciate hearing you. tia, mike More discussions in ...

bonjour à tous j ai acheté une petite cn sans prétention sur aliexpress,  j ai flasher l arduino nano avec grbl, pour une maj, mais depuis ma cn ne fonctionne plus!  axe x inverse avec y, ne bouge que dans un sens,  la carte viens de chez laseraxe, j ai essayé toutes les versions de grbl possible, es-ce du à ma carte chinoise ou à mon cerveau de français ?, merci si je me souviens bien dans grbl il y des réglages sauvegardés dans l'eeprom. est-ce que flasher une nouvelle version ne réinitialise pas ces réglages? c'est le cas sur tinyg (qui est dérivée de grbl) en tout cas. so heres problem 30 or minutes ever im doing usb opitcal mouse stops working. of time can plus different usb optical mouse different usb port , works while same thing happens it. ive looked @ other posts cant figure out , others dont work. os cant keep using this. what brand mouse, brand pc? comming out of suspend when happens or @ given time, when surfing net? need more details. hi all, after finding fix crackling , popping noises started after installing karmic, i'm left 2 minor pulseaudio issues. first off, "output" percent acts in unexpected way. in particular, on system, sound disappears promptly @ 15% while it's nice , audible @ 16%. has else encountered and, if so, have found way normal "0% = 0 sound" state yet? finally, can switch inputs (i.e. whether have dell xps m1330 use built-in microphone or plugged front connector) using alsamixer. strange thing here "sound preferences" gives 2 options "connector" (microphone 1 , microphone 2), neither turns off built-in mic , turns on front connector. thoughts? sincerely, dima ... bump... my company has been experiencing issues trying open pdf's. when try open images hidden behind vendors firewall using ".aspx" application open them blank browser window. if change internet option not open in browser window error ie cannot download .aspx file access denied. when try open through firefox opens file fine. started happening ie 7 update issued on 2/12/08. before had no issues opening in ie7. happens on multiple versions of acrobat. have seen in acrobat 7 , 8. created virtual pc , installed ms updates , acrobat 8.1.2 , won't work. if uninstall ie 7 can open files fine. can shed light on problem? have tried uninstalling adobe acrobat , making sure files , registry keys deleted did not help. any word on issue? we having trouble vista users opening .pdx files...having hard time finding thread on More discussions in Acrobat Reader adobe

greetings. before forced delete (actually rename) .gnome2 directory in order fresh start, had icon on panel (task-bar? ssssssss ) kill next window clicked. useful when program stops responding. problem: rebuilding panel, don't recall name of utility. had copied off 1 either applications menu or system menu can't find now. questions: what name of kill-next-clicked-window utility? what directory (presumably place under .gnome2) holds links programs on panels? search under renamed .gnome2 directory yields lot of empty directories , nothing can identify objective.
