adobe reader 9 downloaded , installed successfully. application's fundamental features functioning normally. problem experienced when checking updates (for installed version) within application clicking menu 'help' , submenu 'checking updates...'. i posted in linux mint forum cross-post here, it's issue others may have. note unsolved issue @ end, regarding update options being unavailable in ff 3.1 , 3.5.6 under linux mint 8 (equivalent ubuntu 9.10). here goes: installed helena 8 , youtube video/audio controls don't work. also, audio volume seems lower when working in gloria 7. i'm using firefox 3.5.6. also, widgets feature in wordpress doesn't work. p.s. solved both of these problems uninstalling firefox 3.5.6 , going firefox 3.1. glad isn't ubuntu 9.10/mint helena 8 problem. on other hand: why update options disabled in firefox under mint 8 (both versions, 3.1 , 3.5.6). choosing edit > preferences > advanced > update displays 2 options, installed add-ons , search engines. page/tab should show additional options choosing whether firefox should automatically install updates program. big bug, 3.5.6 has above-mentioned broken "features." really, needs f...

hi, using reader v8.1.2. far rememeber have not had problem prior today when received email number of pdf files attachments. when select 1 read dialog box options 'open' or 'cancel', above 2 buttons says 'unkown file type' when click on open message reads ' file not have program associated performing action, create association in folder options control panel' when in control panel @ folder options, pdf files set open adobe reader. i thought may problem @ senders end, have sent pdf file created myself email attachment other email account , same thing has happened. anyone assist please? what e-mail program? aandi inston More discussions in Acrobat Reader adobe

yep! i finding weird issue when try login front-end. this pattern: i try login once correct username , password.  nothing happens. i try login again right username , password...  still nothing happens i withdraw 2 letters password, turning wrong password , hit enter... . a message flashes telling me have entered right password but, lo , behold!  find myself logged site. i have machine adobe reader 6.0 in different users logging different account. if administrator changes print dialog settings such auto rotate , center or page scaling (fit page, shrink page sizes) while printing document, same settings not visible in print dialog of various users log onto same machine. does acroreader stores settings differently different users ? where store settings in registry or seperate settings file each user ? how can have same settings (print dialog settings) different users ? any appreciated. since 1-1-2010 had many problems 9.10 decided better re-install system. looked going of same x problems on doing package upgrade gui ide/usb mouse not work. how can fix this? have mint running on seperate partition without problems. i changed usb port connected mouse , re-booted. screen initally came ok mouse working after few seconds screen turned black few purple blocks flashing u's. real crazy. have use newly installed mint 8 time being. hi, i've got bizarre issue @ moment x64 versions of os. opening pdf's in design office on 32-bit machines, , print perfectly. these autocad , solidworks generated documents. if print them via x64 deskjet, designjet (plotter) or laser (all hp devices) same issue... not of lines printed document. example, if have section (2 vertical lines hatching in middle) may print hatching, not vertical lines! i've tried upgrading adobe reader (now 9) , printer drivers, still have issue. of pc's have been upgraded 64-bit (due level of solidworks being delivered), , engineers bit upset having reboot 32-bit print clients drawing... anyone else met issue, or got fix? i've spent few days googling, , cannot find answer... thanks, xp 64 not supported because of many issues including drivers. vista 64 supported , reported fast greased lightning. however, still need drivers. how many problems having with vista 64 machines? these have updated 64-bit drivers printers? mike More...

i received new mkrzero board.  cannot show on either ubuntu linux laptop or macbook pro.  when connect board via usb either computer, board appears power up.  green light on solid , orange light cycles on , off. i've tried reset button while board plugged in - no change. i've tried using "lsusb" on linux laptop - no change when board unplugged or plugged in. i plugged in uno board same usb port - instantly recognized , shows in arduino ui fine. is defective mkrzero board?  else can try? hallo, ich möchte ein verfahren vorstellen, dass ich noch nicht im www gefunden habe und das ich mir dann möglicherweise selbst ausgedacht habe. es funktioniert allerdings nur, wenn man eine cnc-fräse sein eigen nennt. klar kann man mit einer cnc-fräse isolationsfräsen machen. allerdings ist das mit mehr schwierigkeiten verbunden, als man im ersten augenblick glaubt. daher meine variante: statt eines fräsers wird ein stichel mit hartmetall- oder diamantspitze verwendet welcher ohne rotation verwendet wird. es werden dann die bahnen auf einer mit fotolack beschichteten platine abgefahren. dabei wird der lack weggekratzt und das kupfer kommt zum vorschein. die platine wird dann 40 min in eine Ätzlösung getan (ich hatte eisen-iii-chlorid bei zimmertemperatur). ich hatte die rel. lange zeit von 40 min gewählt, weil die gravur recht dünn ist und ein klein wenig unterätzen unter den lack erwünscht war. um ganz sicher zu sein, könnten die bahnen auch ein zweites mal abgefahren werde...

servus, ich habe leider den 2 tod eines atmega32u4 auf einem arduino leonardo zu bedauern. leider finde ich nicht raus seinen tod verursacht hat. deffekt sind d12 und a7(d6). praktischerweise liegen diese ja im selben port des atmega32u4, daher tipp ich darauf das d12 kaputt gegangen ist, weil d6 sich verabschiedet hat. die schaltung soll ein paar aufnehmer mit 12 oder 15v zum warmlaufenversorgen versorgen. Über eine diose (ll4148) zwischen dem aufnehmer (max 200ma pro sensor) und gnd wird dann die spannungabgegriffen und in die analogeingänge geführt. follgendes hab ich geprüft: 1) dioden und widerstände sind in ordung --> vmtl. nicht direkt 12 v den eingängen anliegen gehabt ( ps beim 1ten mal war ein 2 ohm shunt drin der durchgebrannt ist) 2) leiterbahnen von der gnd seite zum anschluss ground liegen um die 0,2 ohm 3) eine reihenschaltung von 4,4 ohm den gehenden analogeingängen hat diese nicht zerstört sondern nur die widerstände erwartungsgemäß durchschmoren lassen. w...
